5 days 4 nights Phuket-Phi Phi Island - Krabi, Thailand

17th June - 22nd June 2015 ( 5 Days 4 Nights Trip )

When you google on Places to visit in Thailand, most of the site will shows these touristic places ---> Phuket, Phi-Phi island and Krabi!! And all those pictures on the Net, You would be lying if you did not tempted on visiting those places. Come on!! its touristic, happening, beautiful beaches, great scenery, beautiful people stories and on ... all about positives comments on the Net and you tell me if you would said "NO" to such places.

Well, different people, different perspective, different point of views, and different purposes of visiting one place!! here i am ... i am going to share about how i experienced Phuket, Phi-Phi Island and Krabi in a short trip.

Phuket (17th June Midnight - 19th June Morning)

1. Google on every possible backpackers, guesthouse and hotels

My mistake!! Upon arrival at Phuket International Airport, we (my friend and i) need to declared where we live while staying in Thailand. For a while i am in silence and pretending to look for the full addresses in my small book. The truth was, i don't have any idea which part of Phuket to stay for the night!! ridiculous but its happened.

Immigration definitely will interrogate your purposes of visiting the country and where you are going to stay during your visits and for how long? lucky for me i did my homework and had a few possible backpackers, guesthouses and hotels listed in my note book prepared so i just pick one and show it to the officer. (Fuhh!!- my friend Jal, Trick and lesson Learns.)

Just because  you want to know the feelings of wondering around carrying your backpack and wanna be more adventurous doesn't mean you need not google and do some searching on that particular area that you wanted to stay!! Well ... we survived!!

2. Always looks for alternatives

We are a living being that have the ability of thinking fast and do things that hindering us from any danger sign!! Since we (my friend and I ) arrives at midnight, there were no way, not possible and not safe for us to wondered around asking for place to stay. Alternatives were, we let the Taxi Counter at the airport arranged for us. Let them know our budget and they will arrange it. That's what exactly we did!! though i realized we are actually paying extra amount for the arrangement but that is the best alternatives to do at midnights to places you never been before and that's exactly the prize you are paying for not doing any hotels booking earlier. We had a wonderful stayed at Benetti House in Patong Beach.

3. Be Curious and Have Fun

When you arrived at your destination, chill out!! be curious!! Go Out from your room, explore the surrounding and have fun. No matter how tired you are from the long hours journey ... remember that you purpose of visiting a place is not just transiting and stay in the room.

From Benetti House, we walked for about 20 minutes to Patong Beach. The whole area was happening. Musics, bands, and bars were a real "wow!!" in here..Its heaven for men who drink. (Not to mention of all those beautiful sexy ladies who will seduced you with the cheap alcohol price).

We walked along all those bars, taking pictures, scanning the surrounding until we finally reached the beach. Patong Beach at night is beautiful but you might have a double thought of getting into the waters since its wavy and not too safe for a night swim.

4. Eat Street Food

Be adventure and try out the street food!! Normally you can get all those famous locals food when eating street food...but it depends on how luxury you want your vacations or visits will be. I admired people who travel and dare to eat outside from his/her normal lifestyle. But of course, cleanliness & hygiene  is the most crucial part to consider when choosing street food.

For me personally, i prefer food that being cook in front of me. and i enjoy sitting with the other locals eating the same food .... that's the first step you can do to be able to know the local people.

Be attentive to the surrounding. Safety is also important in foreign country. You never know how good or bad are the people who walk passes you. Make sure to really aware of your valuable belonging wherever you go!! You might never imagined to lost your passport or money during traveling!! Thank God, It never happened to me yet!!

5. Be Knowledgeable of your own country

Trust me .. along any tour that you were in, chances are, you will meet other tourist from other country and  also the locals who can understand, converse in English. So the most common questions they will ask is about your Country. Advisably, read more about our own Country in term of Population, Food, Places, The people and so on!! Give positives remark on every story told so people who listen have the effect of wanting to visit our place!! ~> Promote Your Country <~ (I am still Learning about this!!)

While on City Tour, We met Raquel from Chile. She is lovely and we shared so many things about the Nature and many more. Since she is traveling alone, we invited her to join us in any activities and pictures taking. At the end of the Tour, we exchanged contact numbers and sharing pictures. Owh...she was very good in Photographing!!  And also she loves flowers and nature so much.

6. Do any activities or tour that within your budget

Credit to Raquel for these clear, sharp and beautiful candid pictures of us riding on the elephant. ~Smile~

Wherever country you visits, make sure to have activities in your itinerary. Some of the tour and activities might be interesting but hey!! make sure do something fun and enjoyable within your budget. I mean you don't want to end up with empty pocket before the end of the visit right!!

Also, Be Generous!!

Elephant Tracking was fun but deep inside me, i sensed myself pitying the creatures ... on how they were trained and how they suffered from not having their freedom...Can you imagined a life being under someone controlled? Anyway ... They are blessed Creatures and God made them huge, strong and live long!!

Phi-Phi Island (20th June 2015 - Half day)

1. Enjoy Thyself

To have joy and excitement is how to enjoy thyself. Be open to the surrounding. Observes people and try to gather as many possibilities as you can ... at least you are practicing the ability to learn through observing.

This is my first experienced on cruise and what can i say ... we choose the upper deck just to fully enjoy the views but turns out that its too sunny and the sun was destroying our skin and i can feel how the sun sting the heat to every layer of my skin. Its an 2 hours Sea Cruise and i reapplied sunblock to my skin every 15 minutes.

Despite of that, i personally still enjoying the cruise so much and observing people while having own self monolog. Its crazy when you don't wanna talk to people but prefer talking to own self ... ~> Make sure No Dirty Thought!!<~ Shrugging.

2. Embrace every moment

~> I am promoting myself!! (Laughing) ... Credit to my friend, Jalini for this pictures. I love it so much!

Since we only have half day visit on Phi-Phi island ... i grab the opportunity with swimming and playing with waters. And again i couldn't stand the heat. I dislike it when the sun shine too much.

But i am a bit disappointed with this Island. Not as beautiful as what's in my imagination and also not as clean as what shows in the net. Well, may be the beauty been snatch away for those building and all those rubbish and waste.

But hey .... its merely what i felt and different individuals have different point of views depending on who he/she is. I am ME and this was how i saw things.

3. Relaxing

I love the word relaxing but do i know the real meaning of RELAXING? ~> Less tense, Loosen. Lighten !! For me relaxing is when you don't want to think of anything else except the moment. Be present!! Be there!! Sitting, enjoying the views and a Beer at hand. ( Beer is Cheap in Phi-Phi ).

That's my definition of Relaxing but when i refresh back each moment passed, i wonder if i really does "relax"??

Whatever it is ... i bet you have your own definition of "relaxing" depending on how you want it to ....

“Looking at beauty in the world, is the first step of purifying the mind.”
Amit Ray, Meditation: Insights and Inspirations

Krabi (20th June - 22nd June 2015)

1. Ao Nang Beach

Krabi, also known as touristic places with its popular beaches. Well, i am here to experience the beauty of Ao Nang Beach and again what a disappointment!! Don't blame me!! i have no idea on how i see and define "beauty" .. i might have different ways of describing or to justify it.

It doesn't mean its not beautiful at all but it is way down beyond my imagination ... and that's where the dissatisfaction begins.

The best thing was to realized that Ao Nang Beach is consist of small sea shells and not white sands. You have to watch your steps if you are walking along the sea shores but some of the shells might scratch your leg.

Still, I felt blessed to been given the opportunity to visit this place.

<~ Can you see it? no sands but crack seashells on the shores!!

I love this picture ... even though its not a very beautiful way of photographing yet i sensed some creativity on it. (exaggerating!!)

"The Three Great Element Sounds In Nature Are The Sound Of Rain, The Sound Of Wind In A Primeval Wood, And The Sound Of Outer Ocean On The Beach"
~ Henry Beston~

Yes ,,, its True the Sound of the Ocean on the Beach is what makes us relax!!

2. Be Happy & Stay Positive

Guesthouse where we stayed in Krabi intro us this "Kayaking" activities ... frankly speaking, this is my last choices of activities but since i am in "duo traveling" every decisions need to be as mutual understanding and agreed by both parties. That's how Traveling with partners would be!!

Taking into consideration of our Budget, Circumstances and interest we finally decided to do kayaking!!

Go with the flow ... Be Happy and most importantly stay positive. Positiveness can conquer all the unwanted feelings and make us Happy!!

Mix feelings of happy & excited!! Everything we do turns out to be fun and full of moment to remember!!

3. Be Creative

Krabi with Love!!

Since this trip was Jalini first Oversea Trip ... i make sure she gets the best experiences and good feelings during the whole trip!!

I am just Me!!
She is just She!!

"A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown"
~Denis Waitley~

4. Spend Money on Experiences, Not Items

Spend money on experiences, not items :- Base on a study in The Journal Of Positive Psychology stated that experiences brought them greater well-being and they considered them to be a better use of money.

Thumbs up for the remarkable statement!!

I agreed with it. Traveling need money and its not cheap!! But travel is the best way of how to use money and experience life...its worth it and is in fact a good life teacher of all - EXPERIENCE!!

This is my experience ... some of it i don't know how to share but i tried to do picture sharing to be able to shared my happy, positives and NO Regret Feelings!!

5. Look At Beautiful Things

Be free and Easy!! -> Look at Beautiful and Adorable thing like puppies, dogs!!<- And even other living creatures whenever you travel. Be open and acted curiously like a child.

I love Dog!!

Dog Lovers Poem
With eye upraised his master's look to scan,
The joy, the solace, and the aid of man:
The rich man's guardian and the poor man's friend,
The only creature faithful to the end.
~George Crabbe~

Finally, Always be grateful of everything. No matter how little you have or how bad you are experiencing something .. always be grateful and be thankful. everything happened for a reason!! Can't wait to Have another fruitful Traveling again soon!!

4 Days 3 Nights Koh Lipe Island ~ Sharing Time!!

Yuhoooo!! ..Finally its time to share my 4 days 3 nights Solo Trip to Koh Lipe Island!! Well, i find it hard to share everything that happened during my stay ... i decided to only highlighted what important experiences that i got from my short vacation...

1) Wonderment of God's Creation

Wonderment of God's Creation!!

The rumors about how Koh Lipe known as Little Maldives has its own truth. Gorgeous!! fantastic!! lovely!! Paradise!! was words that can describe this Island.

White Fluffy sands with beautiful turquoise sea colours  is what makes the view mesmerizing and enchanted.

Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!
God creation was FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL.

I learn that living life is about seeing the beauty of God's creation and to wonder how God is powerful and creative enough in creating the world!! ** (Genesis 1:1-31)

2) New Experiences Open Up New Ability

Patient + Excitement + Curiosity + Hungry + Nervous
Upon arrival at the Island and before getting back our passport at the counter ** we have to register our return ticket to the company for them to arrange small boat for our return date and to really make sure things are arranged properly.

Patient are needed at the Immigration counter since i waited almost one and a half hours for my name to be called. Urghhh!!

**(Immigration will keep every passengers Passport before boarding the Ferry in Langkawi and will return it back once arrives at the said destination - Koh Lipe)

Most of the locals in Koh Lipe have slight literacy of English and some of them are not friendly at all. I assume may be due to inability to converse in English makes them think stay silent is better than expressing things. "Can you speak English?" - i need to ask this question if i wanted to ask something to the locals. Took me quite a long time to look for my place to stay because the place names is different from what had written in the map and everyone is confused about it.

Yeah ~ Finally got my own bed!! This is my first experience doing backpacking so i kind of nervous of how am i going to adapt myself to my dorm mates and more. I learn that New experience open up new ability and new life perspective!! ~ Learning through experiences

3) Seeing The Best In Others

Locals of Koh Lipe!!
Seeing the best in others is what i learn from my trip!! Instead of looking for others weaknesses i am able to see the positive side of a person!!

Not only to the locals but also my dorm mates ... each one of us have our own uniqueness and i see all beautiful and positive things in them.

Dorm Mates : Eva (Spain), Sabrina (Holland), Meggie (England) and their friend of friend Jenica (Netherlands) ... One Value they shared in common ~ The independence Life!! The braveness of travelling alone !! and their passion of Travelling around the world (which i think one of my passion in life too)

4) Total Relaxation :~ Being Flexible is Important in Life

Studying the Map!!
Wow ... this is what i call as TOTAL RELAXATION!! let go of burdens and business and be fully to own self ~ being a little selfish in giving the best to our self.

Pictures taken on my 1st day in Koh Lipe where i looked up for Map, studied the Map and think and plan on what to do and how to spend my 4 days 3 nights stay in this Island.

Believe me even if we planned it out but at times we need to be spontaneous and do things based on the situation rather than follow what had been planned.

I learn that being Flexible is important in life!! when we are flexible, we will be more open to any possibilities!!

Three famous beaches in Koh Lipe :- Pattaya Beach (Where i am staying), Sunrise Beach and Sunset Beach.I am full of curiosity about those beaches and i did explored all the said beaches. My conclusion:- Pattaya Beach is the night famous beach ... most of the bars can be seen along this beach. Sunrise Beach has its own beauty where we can see others small island from this beach. Schools are located at this beach. Most of the expensive bungalows can be found along this beach. Sunset beach ... Beautiful mountain views, tired of walking, and not very suitable for a swim when the water and beaches were not so clean.

5) Best Thing To Do In Life - To Be Our Own Self

2nd Day ~ exploring Sunrise Beach with Meggie
Here's how i Spent my first day exploring the Island with Meggie (My dorm mates). We really had fun while exploring the Island. Only the thing that i don't really like is the sun!! when its too bright and too sunny, it really crawl and sting my skin. ~ Malaysian used to expose to the sun so Sun was the problem for Malaysian.

Not to Foreigner. Meggie like the sun. She even can lay down under the sun and for a swim down to the sea in the middle of the day when the sun heated the most!!

OMG!! not me haha. I prefer a morning and evening swim rather than a day swim. Even so, i need to reapplied Sunblock to all over my body while walking along the beach.

Despite of the negative sunny day experiences, one amazing things about what the sun does was helping to make the sea views even more beautiful. You will never get the Turquoise sea coluor when there is no sun. So Everything have its own Pro and cons.

Sunrise Beach with Fun!!
Even the sky was so blue and beautiful when there is sun around. I bought a new bikini which i simple ask opinion and suggestion from the shop owner and i ended up not too fancy about it. Why? because its a bit loose on my body!!

This is my first experience wearing a bikini on the beach haha. its Fun and i am becoming more open...Moreover who cares? not like i have someone that i know around me ~ Wink!!

I learn that to be Our own self is the best thing to do in life ~ doesn't really care about what others said / think about us .. what important is how we see our self as a person!! Love Our own self doesn't mean we are becoming selfish .. its mean we truly accepting our self and self acceptance is very important value that lead to self satisfaction and self happiness!!

6) Learning Eating Ethics

Exploring Walking Street Market + Dinner with them
Walking Street is where the center of attraction was. Food, Stuff, Cloths, Bikini,Souvenir and massage can all be found in walking street. But in the evening the street will be too crowded with people and the street road was not so wide so be ready to bump with others!!

Seven-11, phamarcy and clinic also available at walking street. can you imagine how busy will be the street at night?

Food was superb in walking street. There are variety of choices. I always go for local food if possible
and i love to try street food.

Breakfast + seeking excitement!!
Breakfast with Meggie, i learn new thing about England Eating ethics which i never border much at all. She taught me of how when we eat in any restaurant, how to let others knows that we finished eating by putting together the fork and spoon or knife in one side. My normal eating habits was putting my fork at the left hand side and spoon at the right hand side and make sure both spoon and fork faces are closing down and facing the plate.

well well well ... i never take any eating protocol class before so my way of eating are based on what my culture teach me. ~ Doesn't it interesting to at least learn a new thing each day??

7) Dream the Possibility

3th Day ~ Exploring sunset Beach
Spending my Third Day exploring Sunset Beach with Meggie!! Its a bit hilly from Pattaya beach to Sunset Beach ... with only depending on Map at hands and asking local (Lucky enough if they can understand and give correct direction to you) we finally reached the destination!!
Bungalows are built exactly at the front of the sea. I wish to have the opportunity to wake up in the morning, having breakfast at the balconi with facing the beautiful sea views and relaxing with my Love one!! haha ~ What a dream.

8) Self Appreciation

Bottle with small sea shell !!
Picture that able to make me proud when looking at it!!

Saw this bottle floating on the sea and trying to become one of the concern person, i go and pick it up with an intention to throw it in the dustbin ... that's when i realized how beautiful was this bottle with bunch of small sea shells sticking on it and makes an interesting effect on it.

well after the shoot i eventually give the bottle to one of the shop along the beach ask them to throw it since i find it hard to look for a bin.

I really love this pictures. May be its nothing for you when you look at it but it means something for me when i am the one who took this picture. In any travel trip you made, there will be one or few pictures that you love and proud at it!!

9) Having Fun

Having Fun!!
Getting new friends, Dancing with locals and Do new things that i never did before are actually what i love most in my trip to Koh Lipe.Doesn't mean doing a solo trip is not good. In fact Solo trip is the best trip for those who loves adventure in life!!

This is the beauty of doing solo backpacking trip ~ Need to Gain more confident in Travelling Alone!!When i said travelling alone - doesn't mean that we don't have friends in life. Sometimes when we really feel like doing something and the only thing that prohibit us from doing it is "friend" be more courageous to do it alone!!

10) To See The Best in One Self

My Last Day in Koh Lipe ~ Ready to return back home to my normal working routine!!

Planning On Visiting Koh Lipe Island, Thailand

Planning to Visit Koh Lipe ....
Google on Koh Lipe Island ...
Labour day & Wesak day holidays are coming soon ... Staying at home is not in my options list anymore. Moreover, i am far away from my hometown so i am going to grab any opportunities that i have to travel and exploring new places.

Take into consideration of;-
Planning & Budgeting
The utmost matter to consider is to do planning on the budget that we have. Either its a family travel or a solo travel, Planning and budgeting is the crucial thing to think of before even thinking places to travel. Here some tips of Planning & Budgeting on creating a travel plan. Things that highlighted to create a travel plan are :-
1. how much money you want to spend?
2. Travel Time ... will you prefer to take a short or a longer trip?
3. Basic travel needs : Transportation, Lodging, Food and activities.
Here's another Travel budget tips for those who wants to learn more on planning & budgeting for Travel.

# Travelling is expensive, Life is Expensive!!

Research
Researching is another "A Must" things to do for the said trip after planning & budgeting. Research : Traveler's Best Friend will definitely help you to get any information you needed for the Basic travel needs and to do the budgeting. Travel blogger is another blog page that give some insight of travelling. The Important of research before travelling highlighted few things like :
1. Understanding different cultures
2. Learn how to not get scammed
3. Find the hidden gems of your destination.

# In all fields, Knowledge is power!!

Since my Cambodia trip had been cancelled due to some Online technical issues, I finally make up my mind to visit Koh Lipe Island, an Island belong to Thailand and not too far from Langkawi. Since i love beaches, and with limited travel time and on a tight budget, I decided Koh Lipe to be my solo trip on spending my 4 days 3 nights holidays. If you are curious about Koh Lipe Island, Info about Koh Lipe is what you needed for.

Make a Reservation for Koh Lipe Ticket Booking online and after doing some phone calls and online reservations, finally i have my return Ferry Ticket depart from Telaga Terminal - Koh lipe for RM248.
Since the only seat available is the morning trip, I need to stay a night in Langkawi in order for me to be able to catch my ferry on time (I need to be 1 hour 30 minutes before the boarding time)

Online Booking Ferry Ticket, the web page to do ferry booking either from Kuala Kedah - langkawi or Kuala Perlis - Langkawi. It cost me about RM46 returns ticket from Kuala Kedah-Langkawi.. ( take note that i need to stay a night before and after Koh Lipe Trip) ... so its means i need to start considering about my Lodging & transportation while in Langkawi.

Rainbow Lodge Langkawi is where i am going to stay while i spend my nights in Langkawi. I made an early reservation through calls and Text message to the person in charge, Mr. Eddie and now i am free from Langkawi Lodging problem. Its going to cost me RM45/night for a single room with Fan and attached bathroom. And i also googled for the Langkawi Taxi Association and jots down the said person contact number just in case i have problem with transportation later.

Now the only problem that i am dealing with is my Accommodation while in Koh Lipe. I tried to searched for any budget or backpacking style of accommodation but all seems to be Fully booked during my travel date. Since i will arrive Koh Lipe at day time, i have plenty of time to do walk in reservation from hotel to hotel later. I hope i can get a place near to the beach with safety box / locker since i am travelling alone and who's going to look after my important belonging soon? ~ Alternatives plan.

14:28pm (25 April 2015):~ ** I successfully make a reservation at Koh Lipe Backpackers Hostel since all the other hostel were fully booked **** Dorm with 8 beds .. mixed!! Cost me about RM115 ++ for 4 days 3 nights stay and i am needed to pay 12% deposit via Credit Card or Pay Pal and pay the balance upon arrival ... (I choose Pay Pal since i have problem with my Credit Card). And thank God, the web page said they have Security lockers prepared for Guest!! what a relieves.

Koh Lipe Backpackers Hostel and its facilities !! Not Bad.
I really can't wait for the time to come... Its going to be a Fun Solo Trip!!

# Reminder 1: Convert Malaysia RM to Thai Baht.
# Reminder 2 : Check Passport Availability date ( Prior to six month expiration date!!)

Adventurous Saturday!!

Image result for planning quotes

If "Plan A" didn't work, the alphabet has 25 more letters!! This quote seem to fit my "Adventurous Saturday" Outing program. Well, things turns out to happens not based on what had been planned earlier and thats how i named it as "Adventurous Saturday!"

Initial Plan was to visit Danok, Thailand  through Bukit Kayu Hitam (Kedah-Thailand) border and do some Food Hunting. What we didn't expect is the heavy traffic along the road not too far from the border. Small car, big car, motorbikes were all on the road for the same purposes to enter Danok. Since this is my first visit to the boarder, i know less about how "things" was going on at the border but i did read about few blogs of how they waited hours to clear at the Immigresen for passport and custom checking. So instead of waiting our turn, we changed our plan to visit Padang Besar (Perlis-thailand) border. Perlis is another state in the northern side of Malaysia.

Here's the routes that we took. We started at point A (Changlun,Kedah)  to Point B (Padang Besar, Perlis) and Of course with GPS help but still we made few mistakes and ended up doing more U-turns along the routes. From Point B, We enter Perlis-Thailand Border and drove back to Point A using different (Thailand) routes.
It was a tiring Journey since most of the time we lost our way ... yes .. even we have GPS with us!! One thing i learnt from the trip ... always ask people for the correct direction and never to rely merely on GPS.

Here We go!! Journey begin with a Happy, Smiley faces of us (Katie, Nana & I). Katie, from Chicago, America was an English teacher here in Kedah. Have had met her at church. She was a lovely & friendly young lady. Nana, a friend of friend's of mine. She is from Perak. They both can be considered as a newly met friends and we were so excited about the journey!!

Upon arrival from Changlun to Perlis .... took us about 2 hours journey to finally reach Perlis. It was a small town with few fruit stall. Here are some facts about Perlis and well known as the driest place in Malaysia.
Yes its true ... its very dry and hot in Perlis. You might want to bring your drinking water along with you to prevent hydration while in Perlis.

Padang besar!!

Sticky Rice with Manggo ... (Pulut Mangga) and coconut drink was the popular food in Northern Part Of Malaysia. I never really like to eat sticky but since Katie want to try it .. why not!!

They also serve Sticky rice with any other local fruit like Durian and and coconut. Personally, i prefer eating those fruit alone without rice!!

But for those who really want to try this ... don't be hesitate!!
Recreational Bukit Ayer, Perlis

The best part of this journey ... entering Thailand through Padang Besar (Thailand-Kedah Border).

Its so exciting!!

Refreshing & original taste of Sugar Cane Drink... Love it!!

The super best part of the Journey .... Eating at one of the famous Steamboat (Stir-fry) restaurant in Danok..the concept of Eat-all-you-can was so worthy.

Variety of choices and the food was superb!!
Pork was the best food ever!! Bacon ( slices of pork) was so tempting and YUMMY!!
I ate it as if there is no tomorrow ... LOL

Its only cost us RM23 per head. Lucky enough we can choose to pay in Thai Baht or in Malaysia Ringgit. Worth with Delicious food!!

Things that i did not enjoy doing in Danok, Thailand... Experiencing the Tiger Show.
I felt pity for those girls who doing the show on stage. The audience of course was man!!
The place did not allowed us to take pictures but i did had few quick snap of those girls.
But i was wondering is they were really "girls" or "she-male"??? since Thai is famous with those "kind"!!

I never ask and i don't want to know. As a women i felt pity for them.

P/s: Spontaneous unplanned long Journey!! ~Adventurous Saturday!!~

Dream + Motivation = Reality!!

I want to make a difference ...
Due to my desire to travel around the world ... i started looking up tips from other traveler's blogs and website. Its quite interesting reading on other people experiences on their travel journey. Most of the experience are awesome and so inspiring!! I had shared some of the blogs and sites in my Towards life fulfillent ~Part 2 blog. - Well it is merely a sharing of my travelling desire and i am going to make it happen!! and there are more similar blog that provides insight and motivation of travelling around the world...all you need to do is .. get up and move you little butt and start doing researching.

I really curious of how travelers are able to make a living while abroad. Then i realize one thing .. one thing that all the bloggers shared in common was ... They are all European. Google on how to make money while travelling ... you will finds that all the traveler come from developed countries and they are willing to let go of their career to travel around the world.  Wondering Earl's travel around the world  blog are so informative and he shared quite interesting articles on travelling. 70% of the western traveler's Teach English while travelling around Southern Asia and  make a living through teaching. How about people from Southern Asia to travel around European countries? is it possible? Yes it is ... as long as you have a friend in that particular country then you are saving a lot...(may be). I haven't found any blog about how to travel around Europe without occurring huge amount of money. - moreover with the huge different between the countries exchange rate make it more unlikely to travel to their country... (Southern Asia for westerner are cheap countries and Malaysia fall under it as well). Another Blog about Quit Job to travel the world ... this is insane!!

I come cross a blog how Malaysia can travel to Europe for 10 days with only RM5,800 .. the sharing are fabulous and informative. The question is,  its only in 10 days... how if you want to travel around that continent for more than 10 days?

1. Either you come from a rich family background
2. you inherent fortune from your family
3. you are studying there ...
Then you can have a accessibility of wondering around Europe...

Ding Dong !! .. and here another site from the same writer 7 cheapest place to live in Europe for a year are also quite interesting to read. Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Spain, Greece. Slovakia & Bulgaria was the 7 Places that mentioned in the blog.  Blog or site like this really help a beginner who are looking for some tips of traveling.

I know, i admitted that there are more people who are able to make a living while traveling around Europe but none of them are really write about it or share tips based on their travelling perspective!! - So you need to do more research and do analysis on it. - you never knew that you will become one of the writer soon- (Self motivation)

I am doing my part of researching through reading more blogs and getting tips from experienced traveler's on Google. Really wish to travel around Europe soon!!

March 2015 Langkawi Work Trip!!

Unexpectedly my office top management decided to have a meeting at one of the office branches in Langkawi.. I was like "Really?" I was just back from spending my CNY holidays in Langkawi and here i am again spending  my early March weekends in Langkawi!! But i believe this ~> Doesn't matter how many times you visited a place, counts on the memories that you get from each visit for every visit will have its own lesson<~

Your opinion might be differ from mine and i tell you what ...  i enjoy myself whenever i travel and visiting places ( I assume i am an adventures person ... sometimes!! i guess) ... http://littleblogger.net/why-people-love-to-travel/ This is my favorite site of Why People Travel and i agreed with the post!! Make sure to catch an eyes on the post ya!!

Lets jump to how i spent my weekends .....

I love my happy face in the pictures ... its looks so natural and pure!! hehehe...  Here we go... group pictures taken after buying our ferry ticket. Because we bought the tickets in a group basis so we managed to get the seat in a raw ... close to each other.
Took us about 2 hours from the mainland to Langkawi Island... i am feeling great for the opportunity  traveled with my office people!!
Meeting chaired by our Director and everyone is giving  full cooperation during the meeting.

Since i'd been here before so its easier for me to arrange an Island Hopping activity for the group!! All of them were so excited about the trip including my director and his wife. Got the quotation from the Boat owner, collecting money from the group, and arrange for the trip...
Here was the Itinerary of the trip :-
1. Visiting Bunting Island Marble Resort
2. Go for Eagles feeding
3. Visiting Beras Basah Island
Everyone agreed of it and here we go ... getting on the boat for the trip!!

Look at all those happy faces... for some of them this was their first experiences travelling in a boat...For me personally, i'd been in a more challenging trip with boat while in Sabah and i never think of any negative thought while travelling because:-
1. Travelling is about happiness .. having fun ... laugh ... be grateful ... enjoy ... most importantly having a great memories.
2. Trust in GOD ... whatever names you call your God, have faith in HIM .. pray that everything will be accordance with his plan. He will never do harm to His beloved Daughter & Son isn't it.

Reached Dayang Bunting Marble resort!! Stop for some pictures taking with our own personal body pose. Yay!! we had fun...

from the main entrance of the Island, it took us about 15 minutes walk to the lake of Pregnant Maiden.

Wow .. i'd been here twice yet i never really Google and read the story about legends of the lake. I like it there for the forest and the quietness.
http://www.neosentuhan.com.my/langkawi/support/le004.htm ... here is another link about the Legends of Langkawi & the lake itself. Its beautiful anyway!! But i freak out when i know how exactly the land form of the lake and it surrounding.

Like i said the lake is beautiful ... we spent our time at the lake with paddling around the lake. It cost us around Rm15 per head including a life jacket.

Note that it is an automatic battery guided motor system which last for 30 minutes. For 30 minutes, relax & enjoy the lake view without paddling. The only thing that you need to control is the steering ... either to the right or to the left.

It is worthy to paddle around the lake ...

http://www.langkawipoint.com/langkawi-islands/pulau-beras-basah read this out for more info of  the Wet Rice Island (Pulau Beras Basah).

Having an opportunity to swim and feeding monkeys. There were many of them and all grows with manner. They behave well as long as you make them feel secured. They were all friendly and i managed to touch one of the monkey!!

Night at the beach was fun!! We stayed at Sandy Beach Hotel in Pantai Cenang. Situated Exactly in front of the Beach and we really enjoy our night at the beach.

Laughing, talking, taking pictures, posing and walking along the beach from one edge to the other edge was tiring yet enjoyable. And the sand was so fluffy like flour and you will experience how tired you are after the walk.

Here are pictures of our happy pose...

Spending my morning at the sea shore ... sitting cross-legged at the edge of the sea waves ... relaxing and being thankful for such a beautiful sea views, relaxing sea sounds and being grateful for such a wonderful life i have.

I also went for a morning swim as my morning exercises.

What a life!!
